I was told there were several of these girls dressed like flight attendants in Winter Comiket 2009. According to Mike, the contributor of today's feature, she's "the cutest one in the bunch. Not that all of them weren't cute actually."

Since this is the only photo I have, I can't judge that. Maybe it's because she's wearing her hair in semi-pigtails that it made her stand out?

Anyway, if anyone has any guesses, I'd be glad to hear them! Thanks again to Mike for the contribution!

Ah, Comiket. Such a treasure trove of beautiful cosplays... I only wish I could identify all of you!

Here is a cute cosplayer from Winter Comiket 2009. From the looks of it, she could be a fighter from a game, and we all know how un-knowledgeable I am when it comes to games. I wonder if that stuff toy is significant to her identity? Or she could have just bought it at the event I guess.

This is a school girl cosplay from MoeHaku 2010, and I think it would be awesome if she was just a regular girl browsing around in the event, wouldn't it?

Until I can confirm that though, I'm putting her in the Unknown Section. There's a school emblem on her jacket; maybe people from Japan can tell me what school it's from at least?

I realized there were a lot of resolved cosplays in the Unknown Section, so with the start of the new year, I'd like to introduce the Unraveled Section; where all cosplays I didn't know about are properly labeled thanks to my readers! Now you guys can check out the Unknown Section and see all the cosplays that still need solving!

This cute girl might be some Japanese girl who is on her way to the festival or something like that. Does she happen to resemble any character you know?

I recall having seen a character with a similar hairstyle as her’s… short, brown twintails… I think it was a game of some sort with the word “Dragon” on it, but I’m not sure.

So technically, this week’s unknown cosplay is actually "known". But I’m a little confused.

From the site info, this is Shiki Senri, Kaname’s younger cousin who works as a model along side Rima. But I asked a few people and they think he looks more like Kuran Kaname himself despite the red hair.

So I leave it up to you guys to decide. Is he cosplaying as Shiki, or as Kaname?

It’s that time of the week again! I’d like to thank everyone for helping out with trying to find out where these characters featured in Unknown are from; it’s all very much appreciated! Keep those guesses coming!

This one I think looks like Kinomoto Sakura from Card Captor Sakura. But I’m not sure about the costume since I didn’t get to watch all the episodes. Or she could be someone else entirely; like a game character.

San Diego held a Comic Con back in August 2008. A lot of people were cosplaying several characters ranging from games, anime, movies, and comic book characters.

I found this picture from a friend, and it’s originally found on this blog. The details on her costume are amazing, and I wonder, is she cosplaying someone, or is this original?

Perhaps I should find less generic looking cosplays for this guessing game.

Either way, I really like this cosplayer, if she’s actually cosplaying at all. I get the feeling she may be one of those maids from the Maid Cafes in Japan.

You have to admit she’s pretty cute though. So, are there any anime series that comes to mind when you look at her?

Some cosplays are too good (or maybe too cute) to pass up, even though I have no idea where they’re from.

Take these 2 cute little girls for instance.

The only clue I have about them is from the source who says:

These kids were part of a singing / dancing group that performed onstage to promote a new Korean MMO.

But what game? And who are they?

So I’m opening up a new category in this blog. The “Unknown” portion will feature several cosplays from which I have no information on. If anyone has any idea, then please feel free to let me know. Then I can edit the entry and add in your information and credit you accordingly.
